Plain English: We are a private company that prepares and files trucking permits and registrations for you, for a fee. We are not the government, and you can always file directly with the government yourself for only the government fee. You must give us correct information. Full refunds are available within 3 days of purchase only if we have not started work, minus card-processing fees. Once the work is done or your filing is submitted, no refund is available. 1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a contract between you and US Permit & Processing LLC ("US Permit," "we," "us"). They apply when you use the website uspermit.us (the "Site") or buy any of our services. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. We Are Not the Government

THIS PRODUCT OR SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED OR ENDORSED BY ANY GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY, AND THIS OFFER IS NOT BEING MADE BY AN AGENCY OF THE GOVERNMENT.

US Permit is a private, third-party filing and compliance service. We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FMCSA, USDOT, the UCR Plan, FinCEN, or any other federal or state agency. You never have to use a company like ours. You can always file directly with the government yourself and pay only the government fee — for example, at fmcsa.dot.gov or www.ucr.gov.

UCR notice: We are not affiliated with the Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) Plan. We are a private registration service that files your UCR for an additional service fee. You may register directly, without our fee, at www.ucr.gov.

3. Our Services

We prepare and submit filings and provide compliance support for trucking companies, including:

Company Launch Package (from $849 for single-truck startups, government fees included; larger fleets quoted individually): business entity setup coordination, MC/DOT operating authority, BOC-3, UCR, and the first month of compliance care.
Monthly compliance plans (cancel anytime): Essential ($55/month), Fleet ($75/month), and Fleet Advance ($120/month), covering deadline tracking, MCS-150, UCR, IFTA filings, driver-compliance management, and audit support. Some third-party costs (such as drug tests or MVRs) are billed separately on certain plans.
One-time filings: MCS-150 Biennial Update, UCR Registration, BOC-3, IRP, IFTA, NY HUT, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration and queries, random drug & alcohol testing consortium enrollment, Driver Qualification Files, New Entrant audit support, USDOT cancellation, and Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting (BOIR).

Current prices are posted on the Site. We may change prices at any time, but a change applies only to future orders — the price posted when you order is the price you pay.

4. Not Legal, Tax, or Professional Advice

We are not a law firm, accounting firm, or government consultant. Nothing on the Site and nothing we say or write is legal, tax, or professional advice. We are a document preparation and filing service. If you need advice about your specific situation, please talk to a licensed attorney or accountant.

5. Your Responsibilities

Accurate information. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of every piece of information you give us. We do not independently verify your information. We process submissions as received. Wrong or incomplete information can cause rejected filings, delays, fines, or loss of operating authority — and that risk is yours.
Authority to act. When you submit information for a company, you promise that you are authorized to act for that company and to bind it to these Terms.
Respond to us. We may contact you to verify or gather information — normally within about 10 business days of your order for service verification, and usually much faster for new requests. If you do not respond, your filing may be delayed or impossible to complete.
Confirmations. We send order and filing confirmations by email. Keep your email address current and check it.

6. No Guarantee of Government Outcomes

Government agencies make their own decisions on their own schedules. We do not guarantee that any agency will accept a filing, grant operating authority, approve a registration, complete processing in any particular time, or reach any particular audit result. We also do not guarantee that any filing makes you compliant with 49 CFR, the Corporate Transparency Act, or any other law. Our job is to prepare and submit your filings with reasonable care based on the information you give us.

7. Payments

Payments are processed on our forms by a third-party payment processor (for example, Stripe). The processor — not US Permit — handles your card data, and we do not store full card numbers. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the services you order, including recurring monthly charges for monthly plans until you cancel.

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at info@uspermit.us or 877-922-5666 so we can fix it. You agree not to file a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge you actually authorized, or for work we have already performed, without first giving us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue. We may contest improper chargebacks and provide the processor and card networks with records of your order, communications, and our work.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

This is our complete refund policy. It replaces any earlier refund language.

3-day window. You may cancel for a full refund within 3 days (72 hours) of purchase, but only if we have not begun work and nothing has been submitted to any agency. Refunds in this window are reduced by the non-refundable payment-processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), which the processor keeps.
After work is done or processing begins. Once we have performed the work, begun processing, or submitted anything to an agency — no matter how soon after purchase — the sale is final and no refund is available.
Government fees. Fees we have already paid to a government agency on your behalf are never refundable, by anyone, under any circumstances.
UCR exception. UCR orders are excluded from the 3-day cancellation window. If a UCR filing cannot be completed — for example, because of an improper operation designation or because the registration was already filed — your order is allocated to the following registration year instead of refunded.
Monthly plans. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. There are no prorated refunds for a partial month.

How to cancel: Email info@uspermit.us and include your USDOT number. We process cancellation requests within 24 hours, subject to the rules above.

9. Communications

When you submit a form or place an order, you consent to us contacting you by phone and email about your request — that contact is part of the service. Details about how we handle your information, marketing messages, and opt-outs are in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind. We perform our services with reasonable care and skill, but except for that promise, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Site or our services is capped at the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost loads, downtime, or fines and penalties — especially where they result from inaccurate or incomplete information you provided, your failure to respond to our requests, or a government agency's decision, delay, or error.

Some states do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold US Permit, its owners, and its staff harmless from claims, fines, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from: (a) inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information you gave us; (b) a submission you asked us to make without proper authority to act for the company involved; or (c) your violation of these Terms or of any law.

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Step 1 — Talk to us first. Before starting any formal action, you agree to send written notice of the dispute to info@uspermit.us describing the problem and what you want. We will try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days.

Step 2 — Arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and we agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. The arbitrator's decision is final and enforceable in court.

Class-action waiver. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis. You and we each waive any right to bring or join a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

Small-claims carve-out. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies there.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. General Terms

Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including government shutdowns, agency system outages, natural disasters, internet failures, or labor disruptions.
Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply from the posted date forward. Your continued use of the Site or services after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement between you and us about the Site and our services, and they replace all earlier terms.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Language. We provide service in English and Spanish. If any page of the Site or these Terms is translated, the English version controls.
